You can maintain the teams who must be notified on processing of the received container items based on returns decision at each base plant.

You can assign team name or team functions for a supplying plant which is defined in Field Logistics-> Supply Chain->Maintain Demand and Supplying Plants based on different return decisions. All the users assigned to the team are notified by default. If team functions are included in a team, only those team members as per the team function are notified for a returns' decision.

The team names and team functions are as specified in the Manage Teams and Responsibilities application.

Supplying plant is the default supplying plant maintained in the supply chain.

The teams are notified based on the following return decisions:

  • 10 - Return to Base Inventory
  • 20 - Request for Inspection
  • 30 - Return to Vendor
  • 40 - Temporary Storage
  • 50 - Return for Repair/Recertify
