This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the MDG Financials(CA-MDG-APP-FIN) component.

You can use this BAdI to modify the user interface in single processing of an entity. You can customize the user interface as follows:

• Initialize the displayed data (when creating a new entity, for example)

• Restrict the values displayed in a dropdown box or selection field group

• Restrict the values displayed in the input help

• Dynamically control the visibility of fields on the user interface and of the property that determines if fields are required or display-only

• Define navigation destinations of UI elements of the type hyperlink

• Print the displayed data

You have created a data model and a related UI model.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. Create a separate implementation for each UI model you want. In the BAdI filter you also can specify multiple UI models for a BAdI implementation.

The BAdI is not designed for multiple use.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_EX_USMD_UI_EVENT. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.
