In this Customizing activity, you manage selected UI configurations, which the system uses for the following purposes:

  • Definition of the Web user interface for the single processing of an entity (Web Dynpro application USMD_ENTITY_VALUE2)
  • Use in the Web user interface for creating and processing a change request.

Note

You can edit UI configurations that are not based on Web Dynpro application USMD_ENTITY_VALUE2 by directly editing the relevant configuration objects in transaction SE80. For more information, see the links in the documentation for the WebDynpro application.

This Customizing activity calls the Web Dynpro application Manage UI Configurations(USMD_UI_CONFIGURATION).

  • Choose Createto assign the UI configuration to a data model. The system does this assignment in the following automatic call of the component Floorplan Manager for Web Dynpro ABAP.
  • When you choose Edit, the system opens the Editor for Web Dynpro ABAP Application Configuration.
