FMEA_BC_SET_AP - Activate BC Sets for Action Priority in FMEA

In this activity, you activate the Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets) with which sample Customizing settings are delivered that enable you to use the action priority method to evaluate and prioritize risks in an FMEA.

Activating a BC Set means that all data from the BC Set is transferred to the corresponding original tables. Note that existing entries for an object in the original tables are overwritten when this is done.

You can only activate a BC Set if there is no production client in the system.

You activate the BC Sets in the sequence that is stored in the hierarchical BC Set QM-PT-FA-ACTION_PRIORITY_FMEA.

Proceed as follows:

1. Open transaction SCPR3.
2. Open the BC Sets by choosing New BC Set Selection -> Select by Attributes. Specify the ID of the BC Set QM-PT-FA-ACTION_PRIORITY_FMEA as the selection criterion and leave all other fields empty.
3. Display the contents of the BC Set.
4. To activate the BC Set, choose Goto -> Activation Transaction.
