FOA_PARAM_RETRIEVAL - Define Follow-Up Action Parameters in Task Codes

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Quality Task Management (QM-QN-TSK) component.

You can use the BAdI to define parameters for task codes. The parameters can be used in the BAdIs FOA_EXECUTION_FOR_TASK or FOA_SIMULATION_FOR_TASK.

You have created a follow-up action with an implementation of the BAdI FOA_PARAMETER_RETRIEVAL. You have assigned the follow-up action to a task code in catalog 2 (Tasks) under Quality Management -> Quality Planning -> Basic Data -> Catalog -> Code Group -> Edit and maintained values for the parameters.

If you use the BAdI for quality tasks of nonconformance management, you need to use catalog 2 to maintain code parameters.

The BAdI can provide the parameters movement type and stock type. In the task code you can assign values to the parameters.

You can then use the parameters and parameter values in an implementation of the BAdIs FOA_EXECUTION_FOR_TASK or FOA_SIMULATION_FOR_TASK.
