This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Payment Transactions (FI-AP-AP-PT) component.

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to determine the default interest calculation indicator used in contracts and purchase order at header level. The system later uses this indicator, together with the start date of payment delay, to determine the interest rate applied to the calculation of penalty interest. The interest calculation indicator is copied to all FI documents that are created after the indicator has been defined. All existing FI documents remain unchanged.

You have defined interest calculation indicators in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) in the IMG activity Maintain Interest Calculation Indicators.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation. The BAdI is designed for multiple use. All activated implementations are called and executed.

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_FPIA_GET_DEF_INT_IND. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.
