In this Customizing activity, you define different allocation types which can be used during the immediate allocation of an order.

If you assign an immediate allocation type to a document, the system tries to allocate a requirement immediately when the document is created or modified.

  1. Define the allocation type necessary for immediate allocation by assigning an alphanumeric key with a maximum of four characters and a descriptive text.
  2. Assign the rules to the allocation type. The following rules are available for an immediate allocation type:
  • Stock selection

  • Allocation

  • Requirement filter check

  • Release Rules

  • Log

  1. Save the entry.
