General Material Data rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run timeThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you specify how the system selects stock elements during an each order allocation run.
Stock elements can be of the following types:
- Batch stock for articles which are batch managed
- Storage location stock for articles which are not batch managed
- Customer consignment stock for stock available at the customer site
- Purchase-to-order (PTO) and make-to-order (MTO) stock for a specific sales order
- Future receipts which include purchase orders, shipping notifications and production orders
For physical stock, you need to define segments for each stock type and activate the corresponding stock segment that needs to be used for allocation.
For each stock selection rule, you must specify which stock elements the system uses for requirements during order allocation run.
- Define your rule for the stock selection by assigning an alphanumeric key (maximum of four characters) and a description.
- Go to the detail screen to create the rule.
- Select the rule that you want to use for the stock selection. For each physical stock type, go to Allowed Segments to assign the stock types that should be considered during the order allocation run.
- For example: If you select the stock type Storage Location Stock, the following segments are available:
- EINME (Total stock of all restricted batches)
- INSME (Stock in Quality Inspection)
- LABST (Valuated Unrestricted Use Stock)
- SPEME (Blocked Stock)
- UMLME (Stock in Transfer; from One Location to Another)
- Activate the segment.
- Save the entry.
