FSH_SORGS_VCV - Maintain Rules to Sort Stock

In this Customizing activity, you define the sort order in which stock is allocated. For this, you specify the fields which the sort logic is to be based on. For example, you might want stock in one storage location to be given a higher priority for allocation than another location.

1. Enter an alphanumeric key (maximum of four characters) and a clear descriptive text for your rule
2. Select the rule and choose Fields.
3. Select a field for which you want to enter individual priorities and choose Field Values.
4. Assign constants and individual priorities for the sort fields

You select the field Stock Type (FSH_BSKZ) as a stock sort field, but you want to assign individual priorities to each stock type as follows.

Constants		Priority	Field Text
B		1	Purchase orders
C		2	Batch stock
L		3	Notifications

This kind of sorting would not be possible with a normal ascending or descending sort method. However, it is possible by giving individual priorities to each stock type.
