In these Customizing activities for Service Configurator, you can configure the integration of service request checklists with a backend system.

The Configure Integration to Backend Transactions Customizing activity allows you to configure the following features for checklists in service requests:

  • Providing search help that is sourced from data on the backend system
  • Validating user input against data on the backend system
  • Launching transactions on the backend system from service requests

Additionally, several Business Add-Ins (BAdI) are available for you to define your own logic to validate user input.

These Customizing settings require that you have already configured the following Customizing activity:

Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Checklist Settings
