This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Transaction Manager (FIN-FSCM-TRM-TM) component.

You can use this BAdI to define your own alert categories and recipients (external users, for example) for the messages that you want to send using the alert monitor.

This BAdI is called from the alert monitor (transaction FTR_ALERT) if a message is to be sent. It determines the alert categories and the message recipients.

The BAdI implementation for this BAdI definition overwrites the standard alert categories delivered by SAP. All the related Customizing settings then no longer apply.

  • In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.
  • If there is no activated customer implementation, the default code is executed automatically.
  • The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
  • The BAdI is designed for single-use.

To display the default code, in the BAdI builder, choose Go to → Default Code → Display.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_EX_FTR_TR_ALERT. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.
