In this Customizing activity, you assign MENA-specific business objects (such as programs and projects) to account assignment elements (AAE). The Expenditures and Revenues by Programs or Projects report uses this assignment to restrict the selection of the AAE mapped to the set that is assigned to the business object.
While making the AAE assignment, consider the following:
- Map the MENA-specific business object (that is either program or project) to the relevant account assignment object.
- If you are dealing with sub-terms, first map the object type to a set and then map the sub-term to the account assignment entity of this set.
For a funds management area KWFM, you make the following entries:
FM Area | Object Type | AAE Type | Set Name | Level |
---|---|---|---|---|
KWFM | Program | Functional Area Group | KWFM_1 | 1 |
In this example, for Kuwait, the object type Program is mapped to a functional area group and is to be reported for funds management area KWFM. The report first checks the functional area groups at level 1 under the set KWFM_1 and then reports only those documents that were posted with the selected functional area groups under KWFM_1.
