GENFMV_FUNCLASS - Define Main Activity for Functional Classification

In this Customizing activity, for each company code in a funds management area, you can define the main activity for functional classification for each year.

The Generate Budget Preparation Forms (RPGENFM_30)report considers the set name that you specify here while reporting budgets for a company code in a specified year.

If you specify a set name for a company code and leave the year field blank, the system considers this value as the main activity for functional classification for all years.

If no entry exists at all for a company code in a funds management area, the report calculates the total amount for each functional classification and considers the one with the maximum anount as the main activity for budget reporting.

For each funds management area ensure that you have made the following settings in the Define and Assign MENA Business Objects Customizing activity:

• Defined the objects type functional classification

• Mapped the functional classification to an accounts assignment element, set name and a level . It is recommended to map the functional classification to the functional area group
