GENIL_INTRO_COMPSPEC - Overview - Component-Specific Settings

You can make component-specific settings for the interaction layer.

You have performed the basic settings for the generic interaction layer and object layer as described under Overview - Generic Interaction Layer/Object Layer.

For generic objects, perform the following Customizing activities under UI Framework -> Generic Interaction Layer/Object Layer -> Component-Specific Settings:

• Define Simple Objects

You use this Customizing activity to define your own simple objects that are used in the generic interaction layer.

• Define Operators for Dynamic Queries

You use this Customizing activity to define a list of operators for each GenIL component and dynamic query object.

For Service-specific objects, perform the Customizing activities under Service-Specific Settings for UI Framework -> Generic Interaction Layer/Object Layer -> Component-Specific Settings.
