Perform this step in the R/3 back-end to enable communication from R/3 back-end with the CRM server.

For enabling the communication from R/3 back-end to CRM server perform the following steps:

Table CRMRFCPAR in the R/3 backend contains the data of consumer and RFC destination of the connected CRM system.

Use sm30 to maintain table CRMRFCPAR with the following entries. By default the consumer 'CRM' is used for defining the CRM system. In a productive system with a connected CRM the CRMRFCPAR table should contain an entry like this:

  1. Consumer = CRM
  2. Object name = *
  3. Destination =
  4. Download Type = * (Wildcard)
  5. InQueue Flag = X
  6. Use XML = X

Refer also to the SAP Implementation Guide and define an RFC destination for the CRM Server 3.0.
Select Basis -> Distribution (ALE) -> Sending and Receiving Systems -> Systems in Network -> Define Target System for RFC Calls.
