Order type differentiates Work Orders according to their purpose.
You use this Customizing activity to map a Deferment Code for a particular order type.
When you create a deferment event for a work order using the Manage Work Order Deferment Events application, the default deferment code is determined from the work order type and the event is defaulted with this determined deferment event code. You can change the deferment code in the deferment event, if required.
