In this Customizing, you define the planning types. While creating production plan, you can select a production plan type from the already defined planning types.

SAP provides some default planning types like System Capability and so on. You can create your own planning types through this Customizing in your name space.

To create a new entry, proceed as follows:

  • Choose New Entries.
  • Enter Planning Type and Description.
  • Choose Save.

Following are some examples of Planning Type and Description::

  • Z_OPTIMISTIC - Optimistic Planning
  • Z_PESSIMITIC - Pessimistic Planning
