GRAC_ENDUSER_LOGON - Activate End User Logon

In this Customizing activity, you activate the End User Logonscreen for user provisioning, and set which links are displayed on the End User Logon screen. The End User Logon screen allows users who do not have access to the access control application to submit requests for access.

To activate the End User Logon screen, complete steps 1-4below.

  1. Under the Virtual Hosts/Services section, double-click GRAC_UIBB_END_USERLOGIN to open it in edit mode.
    The Create/Change a Servicescreen appears.
  2. On the Logon Datatab page, and in the respective fields, enter the user name and password of the shared user for the end user logon form.
  3. Save the entry and navigate back to the Maintain Service screen.
  4. Righ-click GRAC_UIBB_END_USERLOGIN,and then choose Test Service.
    The End User Logon screen appears. The http URL displayed in the browser's address window is the End User Logon URL.

To set the links the application displays on the End User Logonscreen, continue with the following steps:

  1. In the URL window of the browser (from step 4), append this to the end of the URL: &SAP-CONFIG-MODE=X&OBJECT_ID=ACCREQ/123and press Enter.
    The Logonscreen appears.
  2. Enter your username and password, and log onto the system.
    The End User screen appears.
  3. To make a link invisible, right-click the link and select Settings for Current Configuration.
  4. Select Invisible, Savethe entry, and then close the browser.

The link is no longer available for end users. This is applicable for all end users.
