In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the LDAP server info to the policy. And the default LDAP server will be the one which is used to get LDAP data, such as policy survey recipients' email address.

  1. To create a new LDAP server, choose New Entry. To change a LDAP server, select existed one and choose Change.
  2. Maintain the LDAP server info.
  3. In the LDAP server: symbolic name field, enter a name to specify the LDAP server. It's logical name of the LDAP server.
  4. In the Default field, you can mark it as default server. There can only be one default server for each LDAP application.
  5. In the Host name of LDAP serverfield, enter the server host name.
  6. In the Port No. field, enter the port number, which is used for the connection to the LDAP server.
  7. In the Version field, choose version in the dropdown list. This field is used to specify the LDAP protocol version to be used.
  8. In the Base entry field, enter base directory tree entry. It's unique name for the entry in the directory. The name describes the uppermost position in the directory tree.
  9. In the User ID for System Logon field, enter user id. This field is used to specify the entry in the LDAPUSER view that is to be used for logging on to this directory.
  10. The ReadAnonym check box field specifies that read accesses to the directory are performed with the anonymous user.
  11. In the Productfield, choose product info in the dropdown list. This field specifies the product that is addressed using this entry.
  12. In the Appl.field, choose application info in the dropdown list. This field specifies the SAP application that uses this server.
  13. In the Object Class for DL field, input object class for DL field, for example, 'Group'.
  14. In the Object Class for Userfield, input object class for User field, for example, 'User'.
  15. Choose Save and then exit the activity.
