In this Customizing activity, you maintain the subtypes that allow you to maintain regulation-specific values for the following infotypes:

  • 5302 - Relevance
  • 5304 - Control Details
  • 5306 - ELC Details
  • 5307 - Regulation Specific Flag
  • 5311 - Settings: Subprocess
  • 5313 - Settings: Organization
  • 5315 - Settings: Local ELC
  • 5326 - Test Plan
  • 5337 - MCF Organization Attributes
  • 5338 - Scope

This step is a prerequisite for the creation of new Process Control regulations.

  1. Select the activity to run the Subtype maintenance transaction (OOSU).
  2. Locate each Infotype above and verify what entries are there. SAP delivers the subtypes 5000 (for regulation SOX) and 5100 (for regulation FDA).
  3. If you need to create a new subtype (because a new regulation will be created) then select all the infotypes above with subtype 5000 and choose Copy As … (F6).
  4. Change the subtype from 5000to your subtype in the 9000 to 9999 range.
  5. In the Specify object to be copiedscreen, choose Copy Allfor each of your Infotypes and subtypes.
  6. Save your changes.

After creation of the new subtype, you can assign this subtype into a regulation when configuring compliance initiatives in Process Control. For this, see the Define Regulation Configuration in Configure Compliance Initiatives.
