In this Customizing activity, you specify how the due date for a reevaluation task is determined. You select a particular number of days for reassessment and retest. Then the due date is recalculated and extended accordingly.

The due date for the reevaluation (for example, repeat test of effectiveness, repeat control design assessment, and so forth) is calculated as follows:

It is the latest date of the original due date, the date trigger of the reassessment or retest (which takes into account the time lag, if any), and the remediation due date plus the number of days which you specify here in the Due DT Ex. column.

The extended days are set to 0 in the standard system for each evaluation type. This means no additional extension of the due date for reevaluations is added.

You can only change the number of days of the extension for the entries provided in this Customizing activity.

Then save your entry.

The user plans a self-assessment at the end of this year with the initial due date set to December 1. Issues have been reported, and the due date of the remediation plan is December 7. All issues were actually resolved and closed on December 8. A reassessment is required and the task is triggered immediately.

The user wants the due date of a repeat self-assessment to be 10 days after the latest date of the original due date, the remediation due date and the close of all issues. The extended days are set here to 10 days. Then the new due date of the Self-Reassessment is December 8 plus 10; that is, December 18.
