GRPC_USERDEFHRPOWER - Add New Fields to SAPGUI Transaction for Data Maintenance
Addresses (Business Address Services) rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run timeThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you can make the new infotype available in the transactions GRFN_STR_CHANGE and GRFN_STR_DISPLAY. Process Control and Risk Management offer SAP GUI-based administrative transactions to work with the data that is stored in HR Organizational data tables. The transactions GRFN_STR_CHANGE and GRFN_STR_DISPLAY are easier and safer to use than PP01.
To add new fields to SAPGUI transaction for data maintenance:
- Select Tab Page Definition and enter the following fields:
- Name: Enter a value, for example, ZIT9101 (Z is the customer namespace, IT is a standard naming convention, and 9101 is the number of the example infotype)
- Description: Enter a description for the UI, for example, COSO Relevance.
- Infotype Specific: Select the checkbox.
- Infotype: Enter the required number, for example, 9101.
-
Navigate to the Tab Page in Scenario for Each Object Type.
This step connects the new tab page within the scenario with the desired object types. - Choose New Entries, then enter values as follows:
- Scenario: GRFN0
- Object Type: P2
- Tab Page: ZIT9101
- Sequence (the order of the tab within the existing tab strip for the object within the Structure Setup Expert Mode of Process Control)
Note: The other fields do not need to be completed.
- Repeat the above settings for the object type P5.
- Save your entries and exit the transaction.
- Start transaction GRFN_STR_DISPLAY.
-
Navigate to any control (central or local in this example) and verify that you can see the new tab among the other tabs for the control.
Note:The Long Text fields are implemented using the subtypes and are visible automatically in the GRFN_STR_CHANGE transaction after the correct time constraint was maintained as described above. - Execute the Organizational activity Maintain New Fields in the Web UI.
