GRPC_VIEWING_TRANSAX - Add the New Fields to the Power User Viewing Transactions

Process Control allows SAP-GUI based administrative transactions to work with data stored in HR-Org tables. In this activity, you will make your new infotype available to the transactions GRP_SR_CHANGE and GRPC_STR_DISPLAY.

Note: The Activities section provides example attributes. These are the example attributes:

• Tab Page Name - ZIT9101

• Infotype - 9101

• Tab Description - COSO Relevance

• Scenario Definition - GRPCO

• Object Type - P2 and P5

1. Click on the Adding the New Fields to the Power User Viewing Transactions activity.

2. In the Dialog Structure pane, click on Tab Page Definition.

3. In the Tab Page column, enter a name for the tab page. For example, enter ZIT9101, where Z is the customer name space. IT is a standard naming convention, and 9101 is the number of the infotype.

4. In the Description column, enter a short description you want to see in the UI. For example, enter COSO Relevance.

5. Exit the Forecast Time Log Active unchecked. In the Infotype-specific column, check the box to activate the flag.

6. In the Infotype column, enter the infotype number. In this case, enter 9101.

Note: In the same transaction, you must connect the new tab page within the scenario with the desired object types.

7. In the Dialog Structure pane, click Scenario Definition (Hierarchy) > Tab Page in Scenario. Click the New Entries icon. The New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen appears.

8. In the Scenario field, enter a scenario definition. For example, enter GRPCO.

9. In the Object Type field, enter an object type. For example, enter P2.

10. In the Tab Page field, enter the tab page value previous entered in Step 3. In this case, it is ZIT9101.

11. In the Tab Page in Scenario for each Object Type pane, enter a sequence value in the Sequence field. This is an important attribute to specify is the order of the tab within the existing tab strip for the object within the Structure Expert Mode of Process Control.

12. Click the Save icon.

13. Repeat the steps above for additional object type, such as P5.

14. Exit this activity and start the transaction GRPC_STR_DISPLAY. Navigate to a particular control and view the new tab that you just configured.
