In this Customizing activity, you can see predefined scenarios that enable you to establish multiple sets of rules for data exchange. Scenarios are used as a differentiator for settings in this Customizing section.

Note: You cannot make changes or create new entries in this Customizing activity.

You need to use separate application scenarios, for example, when there is a difference in the data flow between the application and groupware. For example, you could transfer business partners, by a synchronization flow and a messaging flow, and you could set up two sets of Customizing settings for these.
