In this Customizing activity, you map Customizing values for the status code to the corresponding global data types (GDTs). This is used to provide value mapping for service communication.

You want to use enterprise service operations for the maintenance of the Patient Encounter business object, and have previously maintained Customizing values for visit statuses.

The data is extracted from the Customizing for status codes and displayed here. Provide the mapping by entering valid GDTs for all populated entries in SAP Patient Management. When the data is maintained and saved, the inbound and outbound processing of service operations maps the data correctly.

Make these settings in Customizing for SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Patient Management → Movements → Define Visit Statuses (Outpatient).
