In this Customizing activity, you define which related person types are to be available for selection in ESS pension information and which related person type is to be the default when creating new related persons.

The public sector employee who uses the ESS pension information should only be offered a manageable number of related person types whose names they understand.

Create all related person types that are to be offered in ESS Pension Information, assign an explanatory name, and assign each related person type to a subtype from infotype 0021 (Family/Related Person). Several related person types can reference the same subtype. Select the related person type to be used as a default when creating a new related person.
