Use

You use this step to manage the following Help Center content in all clients:

  • Notes
Since notes are user-specific, you (the administrator) do not have access to the texts. However, you can clean up the notes by deleting the notes of locked or deleted users.
  • Frequently-Asked Questions
You can create new questions, and edit and delete existing questions and answers. You can edit the list of application assignments for each question.
  • Worth Knowing and Learning Content
In these two sections, you can create links to files or Web pages, and edit or delete existing links. For each link, you can edit the list of application assignments and view the language variants of the link texts.

Requirements

Your user is assigned the role SAP_BC_WDHC_ADMINISTRATOR. This role gives you authorization for central administration of Help Center content in transaction SHC_ADMIN.

Note
You can also call transaction SHC_ADMIN independently of the Help Center implementation guide.

Activities

  1. On the selection screen for the category of content that you want to manage, select the language version (exception: Notes).
  2. Optional: Restrict the search.
  3. Choose Find.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Save the changes.
