HRAS_OTHERROLES - Employee Self-Service

The Personnel Administration processes can be started by persons within the framework of Employee Self-Services if they have been assigned the Employee role.

In the standard system, the processes that are started by the employee are delivered in the Life and Work Event area.

Perform the following steps to make a process startable for the employee.

• Define the service as a process using the IMG activities in the Configuration of Forms/Processes section. In particular, configure the process for users in the Employee role using the IMG activity Configure Start Application.

• Use the IMG activity Create Start Applications for Different Users in Portal to create a Portal iView for the new service.

• Define the corresponding service in the Homepage Framework (Overview).
