In this IMG activity, you determine the possible processor roles for your company. The processor roles are used for the following purposes, for example:

• to control the processes within HCM Processes and Forms

• as a display attribute in the process browser of the HR Administrator portal role

• for Business Intelligence evaluations

For the individual processor roles, set the indicator Processor Is Initiator and/orProcessor Is Specialist.

The following processor roles are provided in the standard system:

• HR Administrator

Processor that starts processes in the HR Administrator portal role

• Manager

Processor that executes Self-Services or starts processes in the Manager Self-Service portal role

• XI Inbound

Processor that is used when a process is started by an XI scenario

• Employee

Processor that executes Self-Services or starts processes in the Employee Self-Service portal role

• Error Handling Expert

Processor to whom incorrect processes are forwarded within HCM Processes and Forms

• EIC Agent

Processor that starts processes or EIC activities within the Employee Interaction Center (EIC)
