HRAS_T5ASRATTACHMENT - Define Attachment Types
ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plans BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you define the attachment types that you want to use in your processes or form scenarios.
Note: You assign attachment types to form scenarios in Customizing activitiy Design Time for Processes and Forms. You can also find information about how to define further attributes, for example Display Allowed, Invisible, or Create/Change Allowed), in the document "Attachment Types for Roadmap Forms".
Attachments are used to provide additional information or supplementary documents. A differentiation is made between any information that cannot be specifically classified that any process agent can add (in principle), and documents that are required for the business execution of a process. For example, the "Maternity Leave" process requires the employee to submit a certificate of pregnancy.
The attachment type delivered in the standard system, General Attachments (SFREEATTM), enables you to add attachments that cannot be classified more precisely. All other attachment types (delivered in the standard system or created by you) uniquely classify the attachment. They provide information about which document is to be provided when the process is executed. The system cannot check whether the object provided is actually the required document.
All attachment types are potentially available for all form scenarios/processes. In the IMG activity Create Form Scenario under the Attributes of Attachment Types node (in the dialog structure under Versions -> Scenario Steps), you define which of the attachment types is actually used. You also define here whether the attachment is only optional or mandatory for the relevant processing step, and which authorization exists for processing the attachment (Display versus Change).
The standard system contains the following examples of attachment types:
Attachment Type | Name |
---|---|
S7WEEKCRTF | 7 Weeks Certificate |
SBIRTHCRTF | Birth Certificate |
SHI1_WORK | Work Contract |
SHI1_XML | Daten aus Recruitment-Schnittstelle (XI) per XML |
SPRGNYCRTF | Certificate of Pregnancy |
STN_RL | Reference |
STN_TL | Notice Letter of Employee |
SXIHIREATT | Attachment of XI Message 'HireRequest' |
SXIHIREDAT | Form with Data of XI Message 'HireRequest' |
SHIRE_FREE | Other Attachments for 'Hiring' Process |
SFREEATTM | General Attachments |
You can use the General Attachments attachment type if you want to offer the user the option of adding a (non-classified) attachment of any kind to a process.
Define the attachment types that you require for your form scenario.
