In this IMG activity, you define the node attribute "Anchor". An anchor sets a selection marker on a model node in the record model. It ensures the insertion of process documents and the display of archived documents under this model node in the Digital Personnel File (DPF).

Anchors are normally defined when model nodes are created when you create the record model (see IMG activity Create or Change Record Model). This is how you create the anchors for archived documents for the DPF. However, you define the anchors for process documents in this IMG activity. In this way, you can assign these anchors and the corresponding process documents such as certain forms and attachment types to each other (see IMG section Assignment of Process Documents to DPF).

In the standard system the following anchors are predefined for process documents:

  • Certificates (S001)
  • Legal Documents (S002)
  • Remuneration (S003)
  • Employment Relationship (S004)
  • Life Events (S005)

When using the sample record model and when using your own record model:

  • You can use the predefined anchors. If these anchors are not sufficient for your requirements or if you want to use other anchors, you can define your own anchors.
  • To define your own anchors, enter a value of your choice with a maximum of four digits in the Anchor No column. In the Name column, specify a name of your choice. This name should refer to the model node that you must create in the IMG activity Create or Change Record Model.
