When a process is started in the Portal, the user has the option of saving the entered data with the status Draft.

In this case, the Draft for Process Start workflow (ASRDraft) starts. In doing so, a process object is created in which the provisional data is stored.

The user receives a work item in his or her Universal Worklist (UWL). The user can recall the process again using this work item and the provisional data from the process object is displayed again in the form. The user can then change the data again.

You have checked the automatic workflow Customizing for completeness.

SAP delivers the workflow template WS33700033 in the standard system.

You can use same workflow task Draft: Start of Process - task TS33700027for the application type, Personnel Administration(PA) used for employee related processes, and for the application type Personnel Development(PD) used for organization-related processes.

Activate the event linkage for the workflow template WS33700033. Perform the following steps:

1. Execute the IMG activity. The Task Customizing Overview view appears.

2. Choose Activate Event Linkage. The Event Linkage: Triggering Events view appears.

3. Expand the node WS33700033. The system displays the triggering event for the workflow template WS33700033.

4. In the Activate/Deactivatecolumn, the current status of the event linkage is displayed for the event. This is either Deactivated or Activated. Set the status of the event linkage to Activated by clicking the button.
