HRAS_WFC_EXCPTHND - Workflow for Exception Handling When Saving Asynchronously

The data of a process is saved asynchronously to the database. Errors can possibly occur when saving the data.
With the Exception Handling: Asynchronous Call workflow (ASRExeptHndl), the relevant error processors (experts) are informed about the occurrence of the error.
Depending on the type of error data, various error processors (experts) receive a notification in their Business Workplace inbox. The notification contains information about the process instance involved and the activities that are to be performed.
You have set up the workflow runtime environment and checked the automatic workflow Customizing for completeness.
You have stored the error processors (experts) for the following two error categories using the IMG activity Assign Possible Processors to Error Categories:
- Exception for Process Object
- Exception in Application
SAP delivers the workflow template WS17900024 in the standard system.
Activate the event linkage for the workflow template WS17900024. Perform the following steps:
- Execute the IMG activity. The Task Customizing Overview view appears.
- Choose Activate Event Linkage. The Event Linkage: Triggering Events view appears.
- Expand the node WS 17900024. The system displays the triggering event for the workflow template WS17900024.
- In the Activate/Deactivate column, the current status of the event linkage is displayed for the event. This is either Deactivated or Activated. Set the status of the event linkage to Activated by clicking the button.
