HRAS_WF_CUSTOMIZING - Settings for SAP Components and Workflows

In this section of the IMG, you make all required settings to customize the standard tasks and workflows delivered by SAP. You should perform all of the subsequent activities.

Possible agents (or processors) must be specified for each standard task to clearly define the organizational responsibility for the processing. For more information about the rules for agent assignment, see SAP Library under SAP ERP Central Component -> Human Resources -> Personnel Management (PA) -> HR Administrative Services (PA-AS) -> HCM Processes and Forms -> Business Workflow for HCM Processes and Forms -> Agent Assignment Rules.

The starting of a workflow can be provided as the response to events. For the workflow, certain events are defined as triggering events. Activate this linkage between the triggering event and the workflow.

In the subsequent IMG activities, the above settings are made for generic tasks or workflows. Therefore, you should set up all tasks as generic tasks and activate the event linkage for all workflows.

If you choose an employee-related process, the application type is Personnel Administration (PA). If you choose an organization-related process, the application type is Personnel Development (PD). The interactive tasks that are called serve the same purpose, but the application type differs.

You have set up the workflow runtime environment and checked the automatic workflow Customizing for completeness.
