HRESS_UI5_BADI_INFO - BAdI: Defining the My Information Icons and Text

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Employee Self-Service (PA-ESS) component. You can use this BAdI to display basic information of an employee, for example, social media ID, and other basic information in the My Information lane and Employee Profile application.

This BAdI implements the interface IF_HRESS_EMP_LANE_PROFILE_UI5, which has the following methods:

• PROVIDE_SM_SUBTYP_AND_ICONPATH

This method is used to define the subtypes in the communication infotype (0105) that are related to social media or social network and also the respective icons that must be displayed on the UI.

• PROVIDE_SM_ID

This method is used to send all the social media IDs maintained for the user. If there are 4 social media subtypes and the employee has maintained the ID only for 2, this method must return only 2 subtypes for which the ID is maintained along with the respective IDs.

• PROVIDE_INFO_LINE_ITEMS

This method is used to display basic information of an employee.
