HRESS_UI5_BADI_TEXT - BAdI: Defining the Text for Work Feeds

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Employee Self-Service (PA-ESS) component. You can use this BAdI to display basic information of an employee in the My Information lane and Employee Profile application. It also displays the text and performs action for the relevant work feeds.

This BAdI implements the interface IF_HRESS_WORK_FEED. It uses the following methods:

• GET_FEED_TEXT

This method is used to retrieve text that must be displayed on the UI for a particular work feed.

• GET_FEED_ACTION

This method is used to launch the expanded lane.

• GET_FEED_DETAILS

This method gives you information about an employee. For example, if it is a time recording-related feed, it displays the percentage of CATS completed along with employee name and personnel number.
