HREXP086 - Define Search Scenarios

In this process step you make all the necessary settings you need to be able to define search scenarios.

Requirements

You have defined at least one search mask type, one hit list, and one detail screen in the previous steps for this section.

1. Call the activity and select New Entries. Enter a key and the corresponding label for the search scenario.
2. In the As ssigned Output Areas group box, assign the search template, hit list, and detail screen that this search scenario should use.
3. In the Search Options group box, define the Maximum Number of Hits.
   In the SAP standard system there is no entry in the Minimum Hit Level field. We recommend that you do not make an entry in this field.
4. In the Check Search Authorization of Expert checkbox, define whether this search scenario can be started by all experts or only by experts for which the checkbox is selected.
   You can make the default setting for this field in the IMG, under Specific Adjustments in the General Settings (V_T7XP_SETTINGS) section.

In the Description group box, you can enter a text for the search scenario, which can be displayed as a subheading or as a descriptive text.
