You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) for planning in Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation.

It enables you to adjust the derivation of additional and dependent cost items and the valuation of non-valuated cost items to suit your individual requirements.

You can also use the BAdI to specify the organizational grouping of cost objects based on criteria that are not available in the standard feature for that purpose. In addition, you can change the cost items generated in the derivation.

In the standard this BAdI is not implemented. Unless you create an implementation, the SAP system runs the standard code for derivation and valuation.

You want to group the cost objects for a cost item "Bonus" according to age. Age is not available in the feature for determining an organizational grouping. You create an implementation of the BAdI, in which you determine the age of an employee, and which returns the organizational grouping for the cost item "Bonus" based on that age.

The implementation does not return a grouping for any other cost items.

For the other cost items, the SAP system determines the grouping using the standard code based on the feature.

In addition you can do the following:

  • Add cost items
  • Delete cost items
  • Change the amount for cost items
