You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) for posting personnel cost planning results to Accounting in Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation.
The BAdI enables you to make customer-specific changes to the start and end date of the posting periods that the system reads from Controlling. In this way you can influence the relationship of cost item amounts to posting periods.
The BAdI is filter-dependent. It is defined as depending on the filter type KOKRS (Controlling Area). In other words you can differentiate between your implementations based on this filter type or you can create implementations for certain controlling areas only.
In the standard this BAdI is not implemented. Unless you create an implementation, the SAP system runs the standard code for determining posting periods.
In Accounting you use a fiscal year variant with periods of 4-4-5. Although the posting periods have different lengths (4 weeks, 5 weeks), you want to plan monthly amounts for each period. However, the SAP standard calculates the cost item amounts in such a way that they reflect the value for the exact number of days. In the BAdi implementation, set the start date of the posting period to the first of the month and the end date to the last of the month. The SAP system now converts the cost item amounts to monthly values.
