HRMSS_UI5_LAUNCHPAD - Configure Launchpads for Analytics Lanes

In this Customizing activity, you define the reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) available for the Analytics lanes.

For the Analytics lanes, SAP delivers the following launchpads (roles and instances) without content:

Lane	Role	Instance
KPI Lane	HRMSS	KPI
Report Lane	HRMSS	REPORTING

If you want to add key performance indicators to the KPI launchpad (role HRMSS, instance KPI), you can do so as follows:

1. Choose the launchpad for the role HRMSS with instance KPI.
2. Create at least one folder. To create a folder choose New Folder. Enter a name for the new folder and choose Enter. The system adds this folder to the launchpad.

Note

If you use data from different source systems, we recommend using a separate folder for each source system. The folders have no influence on the UI.

1. To add new KPIs to the launchpad, create a new application and enter the following details.

• Link Text and Description: The description is used in the quickview of the expanded KPI lane to describe the KPI. The link text is not used on the UI.

• Application Type: URL

• Application Parameter: Enter any text, for example, dummy.

• Advanced Parameters - Additional Information: Enter the ID of the KPI you want to add to the KPI lane, for example, KPI_ID=0000000010.

Note

You have to use the same KPI ID you assign here in the Customizing of the metadata for this KPI in the activity Configure Metadata for Key Performance Indicators.

1. Save your entries.

If you want to add reports to the report launchpad (role HRMSS, instance Reporting), you can do so as described under Configure Reporting Launchpad.
