In this IMG activity, you can implement the HRPAD00INFTYUI enhancement spot of the decoupled infotype framework. The enhancement contains the HRPAD00INFTYUI BAdI of the same name.

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to enhance the user interface logic of standard infotypes. This is usually required if you enhance the infotype with customer fields and have particular requirements for the display on the user interface for these fields. For information about enhancing standard infotypes, see SAP Library and choose Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> Developing an Infotype -> Enhancing an Infotype Included in the SAP Standard System -> Enhance Single Screen.

For this BAdI there is no direct counterpart in the old infotype framework, since the concept of screen structures and conversion classes has newly been introduced. For more information, see Assign Screen Structure and Conversion Class.

The BAdI methods function according to the same principle as the conversion class methods implemented for decoupled infotypes. In both cases, these methods have the following (identical) names.

  • INITIALIZE
  • INPUT_CONVERSION
  • OUTPUT_CONVERSION
  • OUTPUT_TABLE_CONVERSION
  • INPUT_TABLE_CONVERSION
  • FILL_HELP_VALUES

For detailed information about the conversion class methods, see SAP Library and choose Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> UI Programming Guidelines for Infotypes -> Conversion Classes.

The BAdI methods are always accessed directly after the conversion class methods.

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
