You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to override the automatic calculation of the voluntary severance pay and rationalization payment.

As in the case of statutory severance pay, the calculation is performed by determining an average monthly salary and a factor that specifies how many monthly salaries are to be paid. In contrast to the calculation of the statutory severance pay, once the voluntary severance pay and rationalization payment have been calculated, the BAdI takes control. You can use the GET_MONTHLY_SALARIES method of this BAdI to change both the factor for the number of monthly salaries and the final amount.

The BAdI is called both during the simulation and during payroll.

To activate the automatic calculation, you have selected at least one of the checkboxes Automatic Voluntary Severance Pay Calculation or Auto. Special Payment Calc. Based on Ration. Pay. in the Payment Upon Leaving A (0527) infotype.

If you want to calculate the values in the same way as for statutory severance pay, you need to have assigned average wage types to the cumulation wage types FAB (for voluntary severance pay) and ZNSP (for rationalization payments). If there are no Customizing settings for these cumulation wage types, the result of the automatic calculation is always zero. However, you can also overwrite the amount in the BAdI in this case.

This BAdI does not contain any sample or default implementations.
