Determine Exclusion Reasons

You can use this Customizing activity to define reasons why an eAU is not required. You can exclude individual records of infotype Absences(2001) from the eAU procedure although the relevant absence type was marked as eAU-relevant. Program Create eAU Requests ignores these infotype records when creating the requests.

The exact details of the reason does not play a role. It is only used for documenting purposes.

SAP Sample Customizing includes the following exclusion reasons:

  • 01- Private Doctor
  • 02- Incapacity to Work Abroad
  • 08 - Paper Certificate
  • 09 - Other Reasons

At the moment, private doctors are not participating in the eAU procedure. This means that the health insurance fund cannot request eAUs for medical certificates from private doctors.
