HRPT_FIO_OVT_004 - Write Notification Texts

In this Customizing activity, you create predefined notification texts for the processing of requests using the My Overtime Requests app. Those notifications inform the involved persons (e.g., the approver) when actions need to be taken. To send the notification, use the report My Overtime Requests: Send E-Mails (RPT_OVT_EMAIL).

The e-mail addresses of the employees must be stored in infotype Communication (0105), subtype E-Mail (0010).

The system uses the following standard notification texts of document class Dialog Text(DT):

• For the submitter of the request: HR_TIM_OVT_REQUESTOR

• For the approver of the request: HR_TIM_OVT_APPROVER

• For the HR administrator (in case of errors): HR_TIM_OVT_ADMIN

To create your individual notification texts, proceed as follows:

• On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench-> Utilities -> Documentation or use transaction SE61.

• Choose the document class Dialog Text(DT).

• Create a text or copy the standard texts.

• If needed, you can send the texts for translation.

You can enter the technical name of an individual notification text in the appropriate variant of the report My Overtime Requests: Send E-Mails (RPT_OVT_EMAIL).
