HRRP_REP - Replicate Runtime Hierarchies

In this Customizing activity, you manually replicate set-based hierarchies and financial statement hierarchies to back-end database tables HRRP_NODE and HRRP_DIRECTORY. Replicating the hierarchies can help you to perform analytics and can improve the runtime in the system.

For set-based hierarchies, you have specified which hierarchies you want to replicate in the Customizing activity Set Report Relevancy for Hierarchies.

Hierarchy Selection

1. Enter the hierarchy that you want to replicate along with the key date.
2. If you want to increment the version number in the back end, select the Generate New Version checkbox.

Run Settings

By default, the program is set to run immediately in the foreground. If you want to run the program in the background instead, select the Run Now in Backgroundradio button before you execute the program. The program will then start immediately in the background.

You can also schedule the program to run periodically. In this case, the key date is calculated automatically from the report execution date. To schedule the program to run periodically, select the Run Periodically in Background radio button and enter the period during which the program is to run. You can also specify whether the program is to run daily, weekly, or monthly.

We recommend that you schedule the program to run during times of low system use, for example, overnight.
