HRSFEC_APPL_LOG - Display Application Log

You can use the application log to monitor the replication of employee master data to the SAP ERP system. It displays errors that occurred during SAP ERP inbound processing for replicating employee master data.

Examples of errors are unknown code values or missing mandatory field data.

You can use transaction SLG1 (evaluate application log) to view the application log. Use the following selection parameters:

• Object: HRSFEC

• Subobject: EMPLOYEE

• Ext. Identif.:

If an employee is not assigned to a payroll area, inbound processing terminates with an error when replicating his or her employee master data to SAP ERP. An error message in the application log highlights that no payroll area is assigned to the employee.

The missing assignment of a payroll area can be rectified in the external source system of the replication to resolve the error during the next replication.
