In these Customizing activities, you specify which wage types should be included in the Payroll Results Export (RP_HRSFEC_ExportPayrollResults) report.

  • In the Specify Wage Type Groups activity, you define the required customer-specific wage type group or groups.
  • In the Assign the Wage Types to the Subapplication activity, you assign the relevant wage types to the subapplication. You first assign the relevant wage type group (or groups) and then assign all of the wage types that belong to the group.

Please note the Subapplication is sometimes referred to as Form in the activities.

  • You have specified the related subapplication using the Define Subapplications customizing activity.
  • You have specified the necessary form and attributes in Define Subapplication Attributes.

  1. Open the Specify Wage Type Groups activity, which is in customizing activities under Data Extraction of Payroll Results.
  2. Specify the wage type groups:
    1. Under Country Grouping, enter the relevant country code. Choose the subapplication that you created in Define Subapplications.
    2. Create a new entry. Enter the ID and description of each of the wage type groups, which will be referenced in the subapplication.

NOTE: You can also add a wage type groups as a subgroup (or child) of another wage type group, provided all of the wage type groups belong to the same country grouping. For example, you could group deductions into voluntary or statutory deductions. This will mean that any of the wage types given in the child wage type group will be reused in the other group.

  • In the Assign the Wage Types to the subapplication activity, you then assign the relevant wage type groups and wage types that you would like to refer to in the subapplication.
    1. Under Country Grouping, enter the relevant country code. Choose the subapplication that you created in Define Subapplications.
    2. Create a new entry. (Please note the Subapplication is referred to as Form in this view.)
    3. Under Group, enter the ID of a wage type group, which you have defined in Specify the Wage Type Groups activity.
    • Specify a start and end date.

    • Under Container, choose Wage Type.

    • Under Value, enter the wage type ID of a wage type that shoud be given in this wage type group.

    • Please note if you have more than one wage type, you must also specify a sequence number for each entry so it is given in the correct order.

    1. Repeat the previous step until you have added all of the required wage type groups and the related wage types.

NOTE: To add a wage type group as a subgroup of another, enter the ID of the parent wage type group. Under Container, choose Wage Type Group. In Value, enter the ID of the wage type group that you would like to reuse.

    1. Save your changes.
