In this Customizing activity, you define which compensation data you want to import from SuccessFactors BizX into the SAP ERP system and activate for payroll using the reports Import of Employee's Planned Compensation Data (RH_SFI_IMPORT_COMP_DATA) and Activation of Employee's Planned Compensation Data (RH_SFI_ACTIVATE_COMP_DATA).

For this, you first create field mappings. For more information, see Field Mapping for Importing Compensation Data from SFSF.

You then create field sets and assign the field mappings to them. For more information, see Field Set for Importing Compensation Data from SFSF.

You have created the BAdI implementations that you want to use as activation types. For more information, see BAdI: Activation of Compensation Data Imported from SFSF.

You have created the BAdI implementations that you use to also determine data that is required to activate the imported compensation data. For more information, see BAdI: Customizing Information Needed for Compensation Activation.

You create the following field mappings:

  • Z_SALARY_MAPPING, consisting of the following:
  • Activation type: BAdI implementation Z_SALARY_ACTIVATION

  • Field definitions: All fields that you need for pay increases

  • Z_BONUS_MAPPING, consisting of the following:
  • Activation type: BAdI implementation Z_BONUS_ACTIVATION

  • Field definitions: All fields that you need for bonus payments

You create the following field set:

  • Z_COMP_FIELD_SET, consisting of the following:
  • Field mapping Z_SALARY_MAPPING

  • Field mapping Z_BONUS_MAPPING

When running the reports Import of Employee's Planned Compensation Data (RH_SFI_IMPORT_COMP_DATA) and Activation of Employee's Planned Compensation Data (RH_SFI_ACTIVATE_COMP_DATA), enter the field set Z_COMP_FIELD_SET on the selection screen for each report. The reports import and thereby activate all fields that you have used the field mappings Z_SALARY_MAPPING and Z_BONUS_MAPPING to define.
