In this Customizing activity, you assign objects to the field sets that you created in Customizing to map SuccessFactors fields to SAP ERP fields. You use this assignment to define which field set you want to use for which SuccessFactors object.

You have already configured the variable pay program in SuccessFactors.

In the Customizing system, you have created the field sets and transported them to the system in which you perform this activity. For more information, see Map SuccessFactors HCM Suite Fields and SAP ERP HCM Fields.

Perform this activity in the productive system to update the assignments of SuccessFactors objects to field sets. For example, this can be necessary if you have created and imported new SuccessFactors objects.

Note
This activity is located in the user menu for the role SuccessFactors Integration: Variable Pay (SAP_HR_SFI_VARIABLE_PAY).

Do not perform this activity in the Customizing system. In the Customizing system, use the activity Map SuccessFactors HCM Suite Fields and SAP ERP HCM Fields instead.

Additional Functions

The function Check Field Set checks whether all fields assigned to the field set are contained in the list of fields generated by report Import Metadata from SuccessFactors HCM Suite (RH_SFI_SYNCH_METADATA).

Note
This function does not check whether all assigned infotype fields exist.

The function Synchronize SFSF Field IDs runs report Import Metadata from SuccessFactors HCM Suite (RH_SFI_SYNCH_METADATA) to update the list of imported SuccessFactors objects.

  1. You use report Import Metadata from SuccessFactors HCM Suite (RH_SFI_SYNCH_METADATA) to transfer background object metadata for variable pay from SuccessFactors.
  2. You assign background object Background_varPayEmpHistData to field set FS_01.
