HRSFI_LOGICALPATHS - Define File Path and Name for Storing the Generated Files
BAL Application Log Documentation Vendor Master (General Section)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you enter the physical file path and file name that, in your system, correspond to the logical file path and file name that the reports for the integration add-on for SAP ERP HCM and SuccessFactors BizX use.
You thus specify the file name and server path that the system uses to store the files that the data extraction report and the evaluation report generate. The user cannot change this information when running the report.
If you do not specify a file path and file name, the reports cannot be run.
This add-on uses the logical file path and the logical file name HR_SFI_DIR.
In the standard SAP system, the physical file name consists of the placeholders
- Data extraction report: string EMPLDATA
- Evaluation report: technical name of the report, for example, RH_SFI_THOL
- Data extraction report: file extension .csv
- Evaluation report: file extension .txt
- Select the logical file path HR_SFI_DIR and choose Assignment of Physical Paths to Logical Path.
-
Select the appropriate syntax group and enter the physical path under which the files generated by the
data extraction report and the evaluation report are to be stored. Ensure that the path ends with
. - Choose Logical File Name Definition, Cross-Client and select the logical file HR_SFI_DIR.
- Enter the physical file name of your choice for this logical file. For more information, see Physical File Name.
-
If you want to fill the placeholders
, , and in a way other than the default, create a customer-specific implementation of the Business Add-In (BAdI) HRSFI_B_FILE_NAME. The BAdI is located in Customizing for the add-on, under Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) -> BAdI: Specify File Name for File Storage.
For more information, see the application help when you perform this Customizing activity.
